hi, i'm yasmine! your host, your fellow hoarder of beautiful paper, and the person behind glue & brew.

I've been crafting and journaling my whole life, and somewhere along the way I turned that love into a career, I've worked in the stationery industry in one capacity or another for over 15 years. So when I say I know my washi from my ephemera, I mean it.

My favourite thing in the world is digging through my collection of Sandy Lion stickers I saved from childhood. They genuinely light up my soul. I'm a lifelong collector of beautiful paper, washi, and anything that belongs in a journal, and over the years I've found that journaling is one of the few creative practices that asks nothing of you, no expectations, no pressure, no audience. It's just for me and for the joy that creating brings.

That's exactly why I started Glue & Brew. After years of creating for others, I wanted to build a space where journalers, crafters, and memory keepers could come together, make real friendships, and carve out that dedicated time to just create. No agenda, no performance, just people making things together.

Glue & Brew held its first monthly community meetup in September 2025, and ever since then we've welcomed new makers, new journalers, and new friends into the fold. And we're just getting started.
